ACTE Online Communities
& Online Photos and Videos

ACTE has several online communities to meet different needs.

ACTE Communities of Practice (CoP)

http://cop.acteonline.org/COP

A members-only Web site where you can form communities, share resources, take polls and have in-depth discussions with fellow CTE professionals. Requires you to log in; typically, the username is your member ID and the password is your last name.

Communities include the ACTE Main community, communities for ACTE Divisions and committees, and more.

Post ACTE Videos on your Web site

To embed the ACTE SchoolTube Mini Video Player (MVP) below, which includes a playlist of ACTE videos such as student-produced PSAs, legislators speaking on the importance of CTE, the student-produced Convention 2007 montage and videos from the Arizona state association, click on “Add to your site …” below the player below. A new page will open. Choose the ACTE playlist and add the code to your Web site.

Contact Catherine Imperatore with questions and suggestions or if you are interested in participating more in ACTE online communities.

How to subscribe to an ACTE Blog via RSS
View RSS Tutorial

To receive updates to an ACTE blog in an RSS reader, click on "Subscribe via RSS" under the name of the blog above. Under “Subscribe Now!” choose an RSS reader. You will be asked to create an account if you do not already have one. Once you are logged in to the RSS reader of your choice, choose “add subscription” or “add feed.”

What is an RSS reader?

When you subscribe to a blog, updates to that blog are automatically sent to your RSS reader (or feed reader). An RSS reader can be a downloadable program or a Web-based application. An easy, free, Web-based RSS reader is Google Reader. Learn more by reading an RSS and Feed FAQ and by viewing an ACTE tutorial on RSS.
